1  pound  yellow split peas  
4  cup  water  
1    onion, peeled chopped  
1  clove  garlic, peeled minced  
3  tablespoon  butter  
2  tablespoon  curry powder  
1  tablespoon  Ground coriander   
1  teaspoon  Ground cumin  
0.5  teaspoon  Chili powder   
1  teaspoon  ground turmeric  
0.5  cup  plain yogurt  
1  pinch  salt and fresh cracked black pepper  

1. Place the Inner Pot in the cooker. Place the butter in the Inner Pot. Press Soup button, 10 mins. When the butter is melted, add the onion and the garlic and cook for 5 minutes. 2. Add all the spices and cook for 1 minute. 3. Add the split peas and the water. Place the Lid on the cooker, lock Lid and switch the Pressure Valve to Closed. 4. Once the timer reaches 0, the cooker will automatically switch to KEEP WARM. Press the CANCEL button. When the steam is completely released, remove the lid. 5. add yogurt, and mix. Season with salt and pepper. 6. Serve with nan or pita bread
