Applesauce

Apple Sauce

Ingredients
8    Apples, cored and halved   
0.5  cup  sugar  
0.5    Cinnamon stick  
0.5  cup  water  

Directions
  1. Place all the ingredients in the inner pot. Close the Power Pressure Cooker's lid.
  2. Press the FISH/VEGETABLE button and set the cooking time to 4 minutes.
  3. When the steam has released, remove the lid and mash the applesauce.
  4. Carefully ladle the applesauce into jars, leaving an inch of space at the top of each jar.
  5. Using a flexible nonporous spatula, gently press down on the applesauce to release any trapped air bubbles.
  6. Clean the rims with white vinegar and seal the jars.
  7. Clean out the inner pot, place the jars in the inner pot, and add enough water to cover one quarter of the jars. Close the Power Pressure Cooker's lid.
  8. Press the CANNING/PRESERVING button and set the cooking time to 20 minutes.
  9. When the time runs out and the steam has been released, remove the lid and carefully remove the jars using canning tongs.
